Slides for today's e-seminar on Flex and PHP

Send to friendPrinter-friendly version

As a reminder, I'm presenting an online e-seminar today, in 1 hour at 2 PM ET, discussing Flex and PHP. The session is targeted at PHP developers starting out with Flex. I'll show examples of how to connect to a PHP datasource using three different methods - REST web service, JSON and AMFPHP. I'll discuss the advantages and disadvantages to using each of them, and then show you how to extend your in browser application to the desktop using Adobe AIR. The slides for the presentation are available, if you're interested. I'll post the source code to my simple examples later this week.

If you miss it, there's another session on July 17th that you can register for.

Yes, I will

I was going to do this yesterday, but something came up. I will post the code on Tuesday as a single .zip file.

Sorry for the delay.

Recorded Audio Available?

Seems I recall some mention of the seminar being recorded and made available in the future. Is this correct? If so, when? Audio problems led me to miss key parts and I'd like to give it another listen.

I will publish the URL here when I know it

I don't know the URL for the recorded presentation, but I will post a link on my blog when I find it.
