Word from Seattle that the Seattle Flex User Group has teamed up with a local charity, Washington state's Northwest Harvest, to build a Flex application for their new website. If you're interested in volunteering for this great event, you'll need to get to Seattle for the 360|Flex conference in August.

Northwest Harvest is Washington's only statewide hunger relieft agency, providing free food to a about 300 food banks and meal programs. Working at the 360|Flex conference, and in partnership with Seattle based RedClay Interactive Agency, the team hopes to complete the Flex application in only 36 hours. The source code to the application will be released with an open source license, so other food banks across the country can leverage it.
